Born in Grasse, the world capital of perfume, Karine is a child of the very soil where the climate gives rise to the best from the earth: May Rose, Jasmine, Tuberose, and Violet. This unique floral heritage defined her destiny and formed her olfactory identity.
She was one of the chosen few to train at the legendary Roure school, an institution that set the gold standard for modern perfumery. There, she mastered the discipline of over 2,000 raw materials—a legacy of excellence she brings to every creation.
Following her apprenticeship, she joined prestigious fragrance houses such as Sanofi, Florasynth, Drom, Mane, and Takasago.
Her career has been rhythmic and prestigious. At just 24, she breathed new creative life into Roger & Gallet. She went on to craft scents for iconic luxury houses like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Lanvin, as well as inventive niche brands such as Jo Malone and L’Artisan Parfumeur.
In 2012, L’Occitane en Provence naturally turned to her to capture their shared roots in a collection honoring the ingredients of Grasse. Driven by this passion and a desire for genuine human connection, Karine founded her own independent creation house, Vox Profumi, dedicated to absolute creative freedom.
